This workshop provides practical information for parents/carers, teachers, support workers, and health professionals to support people with disability in their understanding and experience of sexual development.
Topics we cover:
- Introduction to sex and gender
- Puberty and adolescence
- Menstruation and Hygiene
- Sexual feelings and masturbation
- Sexual and Reproductive Health
- Pregnancy and Parenthood
- Menopause
- Sexuality in older adulthood
This workshop is for parents, carers, students, teachers and health professionals. There is a limit of 3 participants from the same organisation.
This is a full day workshop with coffee/tea and biscuits provided. Please bring your own water bottle and lunch. We have a fridge and microwave that you’re welcome to use.
