Boundary Setting and Protective Behaviours Workshop

Protective behaviours are important life skills for all people to know. With the right approaches and evidence-based knowledge these skills can be taught simply and effectively.

This workshop introduces the two fundamental messages of Protective Behaviours Education. You will learn useful tools, ideas, and resources to support people with disability to learn protective behaviours.

  • Early warning signs
  • The safety continuum
  • Public and Private
  • Different types of relationships
  • Recognising grooming behaviour
  • Online safety

Who is it for?
Parents, carers, students, teachers, and health professionals. Maximum of 3 participants per organisation.

What to bring:

  • A water bottle and your own lunch
  • We provide tea/coffee and biscuits
  • A fridge and microwave are available for use
