Supporting Puberty and Adolescence Workshop

Young people with disabilities may require specialised teaching strategies when learning about puberty, sexuality and relationships.

This workshop provides practical information for parents, teachers and workers to support young people in their understanding and experience of puberty, and to manage this stage with confidence.

Topics covered in this workshop include:

  • Public and private concepts
  • Body changes
  • Hygiene

This Workshop is for parents, carers, students, teachers and health professionals. There is a limit of 3 participants from the same organisation.

This is a full day workshop and is catered for morning tea and lunch. Please bring your own water bottle.
